Q1 – How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
They should be professionally cleaned every 12 months. When cleaned and maintained correctly, the carpet life is extended. If you have children or pets and do not remove footwear you may need your carpet and upholstery cleaned more frequently.

Q2 – How much will it cost?
We can give you a clear quote over the phone that reflects your cleaning needs. When we arrive at your place we will also confirm the cost before we start work.

Q3 – How long will it take to clean my carpet?
The time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how dirty the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.

Q4 – How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
Your carpet will normally dry within a day, however it can be affected by weather, carpet type, soiling and ventilation.

Q5 – Do I have to be home while my carpet is being cleaned?
Our carpet cleaners are professional and completely trustworthy, so it’s not necessary; however if you have any specific needs we would recommend someone be there to discuss this with us before we begin.

Q6 – Will the cleaning products used harm my children or pets?
No, the products we use are biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

Q7 – Can I walk on the carpet right after it has been cleaned?
It’s best to limit activity till after the carpet is dry, however clean bare feet or white socks are fine.

Q8 – Won’t water ruin my carpet?
Modern carpet technology is basically water resistant, and the limited amount of water used in our cleaning process is 95% removed by our high powered truck mounted cleaning system.

Q9 – Will my carpet resoil more after cleaning?
If you’ve experienced resoiling, it means your previous carpet cleaner used a soapy detergent or had inferior rinsing equipment. Our method rinses all cleaning agents out of your carpet so it will not attract dirt.

Q10 – Will my carpet smell after cleaning?
Your carpet will smell a little when it is damp, but will disappear as it dries. You can hasten then drying process by opening windows and doors where possible to help circulate the air.

Q11 – Should I only clean the carpets and upholstery when they look dirty?
By the time your carpet or upholstery is dirty enough to show the dirt, it’s really filthy. This can present serious health risks and aggravate allergies or asthma. Cleaning your carpet or upholstery not only makes it look great, but you also eliminate bacteria, chemicals and tobacco tar residue.

Q12 – How soon can I have a technician come out to my home?
We’re usually able to come to your place within 48hours of your call, and often on the same day.

Q13 – Will all stains come out?

Our cleaning process removes most stains as part of the normal cleaning process, however we can’t guarantee the removal of some stains as some agents affect the carpet dye itself.

Q14 – Can you get the pet odour out of my carpet?

When it comes to pet stains, treating the problem quickly is critical. If left for too long, pet urine can soak through the backing of the carpet and into the underlay, meaning you may have to consider replacement. Call us immediately and we can remove it completely!

Q15 – Is it possible to clean carpets too often?
No, in fact frequent cleaning of the carpet will help maintain its original appearance. We recommended that high traffic areas are cleaned more frequently than other areas.
Between professional carpet cleaning services remember to vacuum at least weekly with a good quality vacuum cleaner.
