Upholstery Cleaning Services have put together these tips for quick stain removal. If you act quickly, you might just save your carpet. Different stains require different types of\u00a0stain removal, so check out this short article on the different types of stains and how to react to them.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alcohol:<\/b>\u00a0As quickly as you can, dilute the stain with cold water. Absorb the excess liquid with kitchen roll, then mix one teaspoon of mild detergent, one teaspoon white vinegar, and one glass of warm water. Apply your new solution to the stain, and then let it dry. Vacuum it afterwards and the stain should be pretty much gone!<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Blood:\u00a0<\/b>As quickly as possible, soak the stain with cold salt water. After a couple of hours, dab (don\u2019t rub) the stain with liquid detergent and then let it dry. Vacuum up and repeat if necessary.<\/p>\n<p><b>Coffee:<\/b>\u00a0Blot up a coffee spill immediately. Then mix one teaspoon of mild detergent, one teaspoon of white vinegar, and one glass of warm water. Pour your solution to the stain and let it dry. If you have some in the house, add dry-cleaning fluid, then vacuum gently after the stain is dry.<\/p>\n<p><b>Red Wine:<\/b>\u00a0When red wine is spilled on your carpet, dilute it with white wine. Seriously! After that, clean the spot with cold water and cover with some table salt. Wait ten minutes, then vacuum up the salt.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ketchup:<\/b>\u00a0Sponge a mixture of one cup of vinegar and two cups of water into the stain. Keep wringing out the sponge and going back to blot the stain until it\u2019s clean.<\/p>\n<p><b>Chewing Gum:\u00a0<\/b>Use ice to freeze the chewing gum, then shatter it with a blunt object, such as a spoon.
